Is it OK to bring Beer or Wine to the studio?
Yes, Beer or Wine is welcome. Hard Liquor is not allowed as per NJ State

What are your studio hours? 
We are only open during events that are posted on our site. We are usually there half and hour before and after
a posted event. Sometimes we are prepping for parties during the day and you are welcome to stop by
and say hello :)

What is the minimum amount of people needed to have a private event at your studio?
The minumum is 10.

What is the cost of an adult private party?
The price of the event depends on the project. 
The project you choose determines the amount per person.

Do you do private events outside of the studio?
Yes we do private parties at homes, restaurants, local halls or corporate locations.  Once you confirm a date
with us you can arrange the event with a restaurant.  We are fully insured and can provide
the venue with a certificate of insurance.
**If booking with a restaurant each venue has its own minimum and maximum event size.

A deposit of $150 deposit is required to reserve a date for you.

Can everyone make a different project?
If you choose DIY Wood signs your guests can choose any sayings they want.  If you choose a Canvas Painting party
everyone will do the same design and our artist will teach step by step . 
If you choose an epoxy resin project each person can create their version of the seascape. 
How long is does it take to complete a project?
Most of our events last about 2 hours. Some may vary depending on how many people are attending.

What time does a private event start at night?
The latest we start an event in studio is 6:30. Doors open at 6:15 for your guests to enjoy some time
to mingle before the artwork begins.  Let your guests know they should arrive fifteen minutes before the
class starts to get seated and settled. We will start exactly at 6:30. The class ends at 8:30. 
It's your night out so we do the clean up!

What days are available for private events?
Check with our office for availability. We book parties any day of the week call

Can we pick a project for our group if we don't have the minimum amount for a private party?
Yes, you can pick a date and choose the project. The studio will be open to other people who may sign
up but your group will be seated together.

Do you do Birthday Parties for Children?
Yes we do children's parties in our Pt Pleasant Studio as well as off site at your home or other venue
All events require a minimum of 10 Children

What is your maximum amount of children?
Depending on the type of event and the age of the children it will vary. 
If you are booking the party in our studio we suggest capping it at 20 children for a comfortable experience.

Do parents have to stay to help children?
No, children do much better when they are encouraged to be creative on 
their own. Our instructor is there to make it fun and help keep everyone on task.

How do we book a children's party. 
Call or text or message Kaitlin to check if your date is available. If so you may reserve
the date with a deposit of $150. Payable by Credit Card or Venmo or Check. Deposit is
non-refundable but may be used as a credit to reschedule if you need too.

Can we serve food?
***Most families bring pizza and cupcakes. If you are planning to serve pizza it should be ready to serve at the
start time and there will be time for cupcakes or cake at the end. Call or text for recommendations.

Can we decorate the room?
Yes, the studio will be open half an hour prior to the start of your party to give you plenty
of time to set up. You will have two tables to use for your Cake, Gifts and Favors.
There is also a counter if you need extra space. 

Can my child pick any painting or just the paintings listed for children?
We can alter any painting in our gallery to fit the age and ability of your child's age group. We will create a custom painting upon request at no additional charge. 
To ensure all children can complete their paintings and enjoy the outcome we pre-sketch the basic shapes prior to the party.  

Do you offer events for Girl Scouts?
Yes, we can tailor a party for your troop which includes badge requirements and also create a custom painting.
We also offer full day "Girl Powered" workshops that encourage wellness and self-esteem through creative projects for Girls 7 to 11.
We give certificates and badges upon request for participating.

How do I pay for my party?
We accept All major credit cards, personal checks or cash.  You can also pay with Venmo @JerseyShorePaintParty
A deposit of $150 is required to reserve your date. The balance must be paid before the party begins on the day of the event.

What if I need to cancel my Private Event?
You may reschedule your event or keep a credit on file to be used in the future.
There are no refunds for private events.
